Material Transfer Between Areas
A pass box provides a designated point for handing materials between areas. When planning a cleanroom material route, consider the items being transferred, their packaging and how often transfers take place. Access on both sides, the installation location and everyday loading practices also help define a suitable arrangement.
APB-20 and APB-30 Models
APB-20 and APB-30 pass boxes have SUS304 stainless steel bodies and transparent windows for viewing the contents. Both models use a power supply of 220V, single phase, 50Hz. Their respective weights are 40kg and 50kg, useful details when planning electrical provision, delivery access and handling at the installation site.
Air Shower Pass Box Structure
The air shower pass box incorporates air nozzles, a HEPA filter, a fan and a pre-filter in its structure. It is an option for material transfer processes that call for an air shower stage. Selection should take account of material characteristics, area divisions and the intended sequence of loading and unloading.
