Start with the process and source
Planning ventilation and debris collection starts with the production process, machinery and the points where debris or dust is generated. Local collection around a grinding workstation and ventilation across a wider working area need to be considered alongside the operating method and site layout. Hop Yuen can use this information to discuss equipment design and installation arrangements.
Allow for operation and maintenance
Mark workbenches, machinery, walkways and existing connection points on the layout. Include the space operators need to work and the access needed for cleaning and inspection. For several workstations, provide their positions and operating schedules to support discussion of collection points and equipment placement.
